We battled "scratches" on one of Guys Boon Bars legs the entire summer and fall. Despite that we did pretty good at the futurities. Of course we would have liked to have done better but under the circumstances we did the best we could. After the 1st run of the Fizz Bomb, we were right up there with the best of them and for a moment we could see the prize, but a stumble on the second run sealed our fate.. Still it was great exposure and alot of fun. We are excited to get back out there this spring and tear it up. I just wish the snow and ice would melt so we could get started!
We haven't been to too many races this season with Rev. He is busy breeding and being the man of the pasture right now. His mind is definatly not on the barrels. We will be in Medora with him the end of June and are excited to have added the Minot Barrel Bash to our list of events at the end of July. Should prove interesting if nothing else.
